The top cover is secured with screws, which is essential for the lamp's structural integrity, proper internal assembly, and installation access.
Because the top cover is a distinct component that is screwed on, a minimal seam is present where the two parts meet. This may result in a small, visible gap that allows for a slight amount of light to pass through.
This is a normal characteristic of this assembly method and not a defect or a "broken seal." It does not affect the safety, performance, or the overall intended light output of the fixture.
